Adgistics hosted a fun and delicious Red Nose Day Bake Off for Comic Relief 2013
Founded in the 1985, Comic Relief is a British Charity that was started up to response to the famine in Ethiopia. The highlight of Comic Relief’s appeal is Red Nose Day. Every year, the nation gears up to put on their red noses, pull out all the stops and gets fundraising. The money raised is used to transform the lives of countless people, both in the UK and across Africa.
The aim is to bring about positive and lasting change for the lives of poor and disadvantaged people. Our Red Nose Day Bake Off will help the work that addresses people’s immediate poverty needs. Members of staff, across all the divisions got involved and elegantly baked some scrumptious cakes.
The delicious cakes on offer included marble cake, cookie dough balls, peanut butter brownies, carrot cake and chocolate cake. Throughout the day, people voted on which cake was their favourite. The votes were counted and it was a tense few minutes in the office for the grand announcement. The results were as follows:
- Sean - Carrot Cake
- Laura - White Chocolate Covered Cookie Dough Balls
- Matt - Peanut Butter Brownies and Dora - Chocolate Fruit Cake
Our fundraising grand total came to £160!! Thank you to everyone for the effort.
