The Canon system was introduced in late 2003 and is today used by more than 1700 users around the EMEA region. It's purpose is to help Canon streamline their Marketing Communications processes across their regional and sales offices throughout the world, with secure sharing and distribution of anything from strategy documents and media plans through to high resolution images and artwork.

Active Directory integration enables Canon users to enjoy the ease of single-sign-on.

The flexible permissions structure enables administrators within the site to easily assign rights to content on either a group or individual user basis. The users are then able to download either individual files or zipped folders of more than one file. A review cycle can be set against content to enable Canon to gain approval or acknowledgement that it has been reviewed.
